Avionics course
The Avionics course is a type conversion course intended for line maintenance technicians - avionics. The Avionics course is an ATA 104 level 3 type conversion course. The Avionics course contents consists of the theoretical and practical aspects of the course subjects at a detailed level. The training complies with the requirements as laid down by JAR-66 category B2.
The training includes:
- description and operation of the Avionics systems
- identification and location of the main components
- servicing of the Avionics systems in accordance with the line maintenance procedures
- troubleshooting the Avionics systems with the use of built-in devices
- operational test of the Avionics systems
- examinations
An additional hands-on training program in a Cockpit Systems Trainer can be arranged for the Fokker 50, the Fokker 60, the Fokker 70 and the Fokker 100. This additional program will take one day for a team of two to three persons at a time.
