Avionics Supplement course
The Avionics Supplement course is intended for line maintenance technicians - mechanical. This Avionics Supplement course is an ATA 104 level 2 type conversion course and gives limited avionics system training where it is intended that line maintenance technicians - mechanical (JAR-66 category B1) be authorised to replace avionics line replaceable units as well.
The training includes:
- description and operation of the Avionics systems
- identification and location of the main components
- identification of failures of the Avionics systems with the use of built-in devices
- operational testing of the Avionics systems with built-in-test equipment
- an examination
