Fokker Services Material Support offers an integral package of logistic services covering all possible aspects of material handling necessary to adequately support any kind of fleet operation. Many decades of experience guarantee the best possible advice from initial provisioning to full-scale turn- key logistic programs.

One of the integrated logistic solutions Fokker Services developed is called 'ABACUS'. Abacus provides Fokker operators an attractive solution regarding spares availability and component maintenance.

Two key Spares Centers augment Fokker Services' logistic support to operators. Major spares inventories for Fokker aircraft are located at Nieuw-Vennep (near Amsterdam Schiphol Airport) for worldwide delivery, and in Atlanta to provide spares in North and South America. AOG service is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week throughout the year.

Initial provisioning

An operator starting with any type of Fokker aircraft is offered assistance in defining the initial provisioning package that contains all aspects of planning, control, organization and realization. The result is a recommendation, to enable an airline to operate and maintain its fleet.

The Fokker Services analyst (provisioning process specialist) uses wel proven methods and models (ATA requirements) in combination with integrated data systems maintained by the technical, logistical and commercial departments, combining any available information from all aircraft in operation. Actual utilization, reliability, and technical data form the basis of the recommendation. The operator's specific logistic parameters, aircraft configuration and infrastructural circumstances further complete the picture. The advantages of the initial provisioning service to the operator are:

Customer Service Desk

Fokker Services's Customer Service Desk provides a fully manned service, 24 hours a day, seven days a week throughout the year. This service comprises excellent logistical and technical solutions at a time when the operator needs them most. Fully skilled and experienced desk operators are capable of making the right judgments at the right moment, adding increased value through technical in-depth knowledge.

Supported by technical specialists who are available night and day, no logistical or technical problem is too big for this desk. In case parts are not in stock in Nieuw-Vennep (NL) or Atlanta (USA), the Customer Desk has access to a worldwide network of Fokker Operators and brokers, and repair and overhaul centers to trace availability.
