Fokker Services can provide technicians specialized in airframe, power plant, sheet metal, electrical and avionics systems to assist the operator on-site with:
Line and hangar maintenance during the introduction of a new aircraft or a shortage of manpower.
Troubleshooting during more complicated problems with an aircraft system.
On-the-job training for the local technicians.
Modifications or Service Bulletins which requires special skills or tooling.
Other support upon request from the operator.
Ferry Flight Preparation
If an aircraft is not released for service for whatever reason and it needs to ferry fly to a maintenance station anywhere in the world, Fokker Services can provide assistance to the operator or can perform the ferry flight preparation on behalf of the operator.
Ferry flight preparation consists of:
Survey of aircraft and aircraft records in order to issue a workscope of all necessary maintenance tasks that need to be performed before the ferry flight.
Performance of the above-mentioned workscope.
Issue a Fitness for Flight and request the local Civil Aviation Authorities to issue a Permit for Flight.
On-site maintenance station
Fokker Services is able to set up a complete maintenance station on-site. This maintenance station can be set up in any form an operator requests.
Possible modules ( employed by Fokker Services ) are, for example:
