Customized Maintenance Programs (CMP): a great idea to value your operation
The basic maintenance requirements for the Fokker 50/ 60 and Fokker 70/ 100 are based on the MSG 3 guidelines. These requirements are laid down in the Maintenance Review Board Document (MRB), which is approved by the Dutch Civil Aviation Authority (NLA). It is the task of the operator to translate the basic requirements into a company styled scheduled maintenance program, subject to approval by the local Airworthiness Authority.

The development of a maintenance program from the basic requirements has been recognized as a major task. Fokker Services offers the operators the service to establish a fully tailored maintenance program. Initial discussions between the operator and Fokker Services on fleet composition, aircraft configurations, operational schedule and maintenance capabilities result in a recommendation for the most optimal maintenance program solution. This solution will finally be reflected in the Customer Maintenance Program (CMP).
The Customer Maintenance Program contains:
- all maintenance tasks required
- the local airworthiness requirements
- operator maintenance tasks policy
- operator maintenance organization codes and labor efficiency
Optionally the following products can be delivered in combination with a CMP:
Maintenance Task Operating Plan (MTOP) to outline the optional equalized maintenance planning system which will contain:
- description of an equalized maintenance program expressed in maintenance cycles and segments related to the required manhours per segment
- optimum scheduled definition of elements based on zones, access & accessibility, tooling & equipment.
Maintenance Work Packages for each maintenance block check or equalized segment as hands-on tool consisting of:
- work preparation data such as effective tasks, work zones, access, manhour requirements per skill
- maintenance task cards including task description maintenance task summary & records including accomplishment list and preprinted Certificate of Release to Service
- access panel summary & records
Job Card Manual (JCM) (Fokker 50/60 and Fokker 70/100 only) to be used directly as Work Instruction Sheet in addition to the Aircraft Maintenance Manual (AMM) containing:
- Job Instruction Cards (JIC) describing scheduled maintenance procedures as required by the MRB/MPD document or CMP
- General Instruction Cards (GIC) describing the recurring procedures during scheduled maintenance
- Access Cards (ACC) defining all available access panels and access doors per aircraft zone
Additional feature of the JCM:
- The JCM can be delivered in combination and structured in accordance with a CMP based on an equalized maintenance program or block check, or in ATA sequence based on the MRB/MPD document.
Use of a JCM will save significant time making manual collection of the referenced job instruction details in the AMM unnecessary.

- Assistance during the approval process of the CMP by the local airworthiness authorities
- A JCM that can be ordered in combination and structured in accordance with the CMP or as a separate document

- This revision-service can be made part of your current DRS contract
- The JCM in digital format (CD-Rom).
