Fokker Services received the 'Excellent Performance CRM Award' at the presentation of the CRM Awards in Utrecht yesterday (April 28, 2004) evening. On behalf of Fokker Services, Mr. Cors van der Laan (left) and Mr. Manfred Hoogenboom (middle) receive the Excellent Performance CRM Award 2004 out of the hands of Prof. Dr. Ed Peelen (right) of Nyenrode University.

CRM - or Customer Relationship Management - means focusing on the customer. The way that Fokker Services, part of Stork Aerospace, has done that was praised by the jury for the win-win-win concept, in constant partnership with the customer, and for the organisational change in which the account manager and the customer together control the supply chain. "By adding value for the customer, Fokker Services adds value to its own organisation. This pays off in improved customer satisfaction, turnover, external and internal communication, competitive strength and significantly reduced costs."

Fokker Services director Hans Berends van Loenen: "In the space of a few years our company has transformed itself from a technique oriented 'garage for aircraft' into a customer-focused full-service provider with the support of the total supply chain. The FUTURE programmes for the return to operation of used aircraft and the new organisational structure are good examples of the way in which we really do put the customer first. And our 'dot.com' activities underline the transparency and short lines of communication with the customer." (www.myfirstfokker.com and www.myfokkerfleet.com).
