Fokker 100 Compelling Economics
- Low fuel burn on any stage length through the modern ‘clean wing’ design of the aircraft and efficient Tay engines.
- Low navigation and landing charges through low operating empty weight allowing moderate MTOWs & MLWs.
- Low maintenance cost levels through a design which focussed on maintainability in accordance with MSG-3, and a durable structure fit for a design life of 90,000 landings.
- Full airline start-up support by Fokker Services is available at competitive rates.
- Capital costs for aircraft spares can be lowered when making use of Fokker Services’ ABACUS spares pooling concept.

Using typical European operating assumptions, the Fokker 100, in comparison with various other regional jets and larger aircraft, has by far the lowest DOC per seatkm. Also, the Fokker 100 DOC per trip is very close to the 70-seater regional jet DOC. The Fokker 100 thus has a substantially larger revenue potential.
