Testimonials

The Fokker aircraft have proven itself over many flight cycles under various flight conditions. However, who else than the operators of the Fokker aircraft itself can indicate in what way the Fokker aircraft have helped them establishe a cost-effective operation. Therefore, have a look at our customer testimonials.

Mr. Neil Crispin, AeroCentury

"The Fokker 50 aircraft is an unbeaten competitive platform in the regional turboprop aircraft segment. Both the operating economics and the durability of the airframe allows us to keep this aircraft in our portfolio for many years to come. The looks of the interior are a very important aspect in the perception of the passengers. The LED cabin lighting gives the cabin a fresh and modern look. With the LED cabin lighting we can give the asset value of the aircraft a boost . We will continue to invest in the aircraft to keep it an interesting aircraft to lease for the operators and to increase its asset value."

Mr. Geoff Silk, Director E&M Air Astana

“The Fokker 50 has proven to be a very reliable and capable workhorse for Air Astana. During six years in service it has helped Air Astana develop a cost effective feeder network across Kazakhstan in all types of weather.”

Mr. Scott McMillan, Managing Director Alliance Airlines

Alliance Airlines operates unique services throughout Australia in support of major resource companies and other diverse customers ranging from military through to tourism operators. Alliance commenced services in 2002 with two leased Fokker 100 aircraft and has grown its fleet to 11 Fokker 100 aircraft and five Fokker 50 aircraft.

The following quotations can be attributed to Mr Scott McMillan, Managing Director of Alliance Airlines.

  • “Fokker aircraft have a proud record in Australia, principally because they operate extremely well in the harsh climate that is unique to Australia.”
  • “Alliance operates to many short and isolated airports with minimal ground support equipment and both the Fokker 50 and Fokker 100 aircraft are uniquely suited to that style of operation.”
  • “Alliance fleet reliability for both the Fokker 50 and Fokker 100 are world leading and provide our customers with the confidence of the highest possible level of on time performance. Interestingly the dispatch reliability achieved by Alliance exceeds many new types currently in service in Australia.”
  • “Alliance sees continued operations of both the Fokker 50 and Fokker 100 aircraft for many, many years to come and we do not believe that there is a suitable replacement for our style of operation currently in production.”
  • “We see ourselves in ten years time still operating Fokker aircraft in our fleet.”
  • “Both the Fokker 50 and Fokker 100 are extremely quiet and provide high levels of customer appeal and form an environmental perspective of low emissions and low specific fuel consumption.”
  • “Our Pilots, Flight Attendants and Engineers enjoying flying and maintaining the aircraft and as a result provide high levels of customer service to our broad customer base.”

Mr. Bruno Jans, CEO Helvetic Airways

With a dispatch reliability rate of over 99% the Fokker 100 has been Helvetic Airways’ loyal workhorse. ‘Our customers truly appreciate the Fokker 100 flying experience’.

Mr. Flavia Nicolino, Director General Sol del Paraguay

Sol del Paraguay's Director General Flavio Nicolino says: "The first aircraft of five Fokker 100s is here and crews and employees have been hired and trained. We can start flying as soon as the DINAC [Paraguay's civil aviation authority] allows us to do so and confirms the [international] routes on which we can operate as a designated carrier".  In its original business plan Sol had planned to operate Bombardier CRJ900 aircraft, but the airline finally opted for the Fokker 100 as it "has the right size for our markets and offers a fair balance between lower capital costs on the one hand, and maintenance and fuel burdens on the other hand".

Mr. Manfred Helldoppler, Managing Director Tyrolean Airways

"Our Fokker 70/100 fleet helps us to face present and future challenges. The aircraft has proven to be way ahead of time while still being state of the art and benchmark in terms of weight and performance in it's category."
